It is a sculpture in the form of a lio
n which dates from 4th century B.C. It was found in the Sierra Mariola 121 years ago and has been exposed in the Pius V Museum of Valencia since then. Its value is incalculable because of its size and good state of preservation. It is further evidence of the long history of Bocairent and the presence of different civilizations in our lands.It will be exhibited until the end of September and can be visited at the local museum Vicent Casanova.
